This opportunity will allow you to identify, design and development creative and innovative solutions to plan, deliver and document audit services. Using your expertise in data analytics and visualization, you will identify opportunities to transform our audit services. You will work with data analytics leadership, advanced data scientists, and will spend time at client sites working directly with our audit subject matter experts. Together, you will research and develop solutions for our audit practice. You may perform the following specific tasks:

 

  • Identify data analytics, machine learning and visualization opportunities that could pervasively impact the audit practice;
  • Experiment with data analytics, machine learning and visualization techniques;
  • Design and implement data analytic, machine learning and visualization tools in a way that provides sufficient audit documentation, as well as provides insight into our clients’ business;
  • Create tactical roadmaps to implement developed solutions;
  • Design training for developed solutions.

Qualifications

Desirable Pre-Requisite Knowledge:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact in team environment and foster client relationships
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, Scala, C#, Ruby, Python, etc.
  • Proficient in the design and implementation of databases and SQL
  • Familiar with analytical software such as R, SAS, STATA, SPSS, etc.
  • Familiar with Data Visualization software such as Tableau, Spotfire or Microsoft Power BI
  • Familiar with Big Data concepts, structures and tools such as Hadoop
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Eager to develop strong technical skills for technologies and applications our clients use

Education:

We are seeking candidates that are pursuing academic degrees in Accounting with an emphasis in any of the following areas (or similar studies):

  • Business, Data or Predicative Analytics
  • Data or Management Science
  • Computer Science/Engineering
  • Computer Information Systems
  • Informatics
  • Information Technology / Security / Assurance
  • Mathematics/Applied Mathematics
  • Statistics

 

A minimum 3.25 GPA (major and cumulative) is required; 3.5 GPA (major and cumulative) is preferred.
